What is ACE Camp? 

Adventure Camp about the Environment, or ACE Camp, is held at the State 4-H Camp in Halsey National Forest. ACE Camp is for students who have completed 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and want to learn more about natural resources while having an adventure at camp! The TPNRD scholarship covers the registration fee for the camp, which includes meals, lodging, and camp activities, but not transportation to the camp. Visit www.nrdnet.org/programs/education for more ACE Camp information.

Scholarships are available: 

Scholarships are available for students from the TPNRD on a first come, first served basis until all are allocated, or until the May TPNRD scholarship application deadline. The scholarships are for either Junior High or High School students who attend one of the two camps held in June each year.

What is Range Camp?

Youth Range Camp takes place in June each year at a location usually in central Nebraska. Range Camp is for youth from 14 to 18 years of age. This camp features information on range management, conservation, ecology, animal science, and wildlife on Nebraska’s most extensive natural resource – rangelands! The TPNRD scholarship for the camp covers the cost of registration which includes meals, lodging, and camp activities, but not transportation to the camp. Visit the www.nesrm.org website for more Range Camp information.
