Brule Watershed
Brule Watershed is an area of land separated by a dam that was put in place as a safety precaution in case of a heavy flood/rain event. The eight mile long structure contains 13.5 square miles or 8,640 acres, and includes the Brule Canyon and two small drains to the east. The dam is located in Keith County and reduces water damage to crops by 93%, as well as flood water damage to the town of Brule.
